The design brief was for a high quality golf course with an emphasis on ensuring the course is playable for all level of golfers, especially the youth of Italy to whom the Benetton family are generous benefactors. The many streams that flow through the site have been incorporated into the design of the course while the creation of three lakes will catch stray shots. The vines that cover the hills overlooking the golf course will be cultivated to produce the golf club’s own branded wine.
