Situated between Barcelona and Valencia, this beautiful 7000 yard Par 72 golf course represents European Golf Designs first golf course designed in Spain in association with Bernhard Langer. The course has been routed through a rolling landscape of olive trees and boasts splendid views of surrounding hills and mountains . Since its opening in September 1995, Panoramica Golf and Country Club has quickly gained a reputation as a fine holiday golf destination.

In October this year, however, it will be the turn of the professionals to sample the delights of this new course near Valencia, as it has been chosen as a venue for the European Tour Pre-Qualifying School II. Tournament Director Andy McFee said: We are delighted that such a prestigious new course as Panoramica will be a host for the 1996 Pre-Qualifying School. I am sure all the competitors will enjoy both the challenge of the golf course as well as the superb practice facilities. The complex should prove particularly popular for holiday golfers who want to work on their game. Several features including a huge driving range, is available with teeing grounds at each end, three academy holes, a large chipping green with bunkers and an enormous putting green make this one of the most comprehensive practice facilities in Spain. Abundant teeing space has been provided to allow golfers of all standards to enjoy this golf course. URBANIZACION PANORAMICA 12320 SAN JORGE. ESPANA Tel 964-493 002 Fax 964-493 024 |
At whatever length selected, the course will provide a spectacular challenge particularly at the five water holes, with the Par five 11th and Par three 12th being two of the most exciting holes you could play anywhere.
Im very excited about Panoramica being opened not only because it is the first course I have designed in Spain in association with EGD, but also because I truly believe it will prove a spectacular and exciting challenge for golfers of all handicaps. It is a beautiful setting and I feel sure that those who take the time to play the course will want to return. Bernhard Langer |
